For the launch of Emanate, Ketchum’s influencer marketing division, at SXSW 2024, I designed a cohesive suite of print and digital assets within a fast-paced one-week timeline. The goal was to create an engaging brand experience through signage, posters, and social content, ensuring a seamless visual identity for the event.

Planning & Initial Concept Development

With only a week to execute the project, strategic planning was crucial. I began by aligning with the creative director and key stakeholders to define the visual direction and event goals. I developed initial design drafts, exploring typography, color applications, and pattern treatments that would create a strong brand presence at SXSW. This early phase ensured a clear and cohesive design approach before full asset production.

Asset Creation & Brand Implementation

I designed signage, posters, and digital assets, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and optimizing designs for rapid production. I ensured the materials were adaptable for both print and digital use, reinforcing Emanate’s identity in a way that was both scalable and visually compelling.

Execution & On-Site Impact

I coordinated with vendors and the event team to ensure seamless production and installation. Real-time adjustments were made to optimize layouts and enhance the event space’s visual impact.

Results

The Emanate Lounge successfully engaged over 300+ attendees, generating positive feedback on both the brand experience and the event’s execution. The cohesive design played a key role in reinforcing Emanate’s identity and mission.

In future projects, I would explore ways to integrate interactive or digital components to enhance engagement further. Additionally, I would refine the pre-event planning process to allow for more extensive iteration and testing of assets before final production.
